Best Foods that Never Expire Life Time

1.  Honey

Honey is known for its tons of health benefits. It is also one of the foods that never expire. The sugar content of honey, its low moisture levels, excessive acidity, natural gluconic acid, and natural hydrogen peroxide are the keys to its longevity, provided you are storing it correctly. You can preserve and keep honey fresh for years by keeping it in a tightly sealed jar and in a cool dry place. Health Benefits of Honey

2.  Vinegar

Besides having an incredible amount of health benefits, vinegar can also stay fresh forever.  Varieties of vinegar including white vinegar, balsamic vinegar, raspberry vinegar, rice wine vinegar don’t have expiration dates. The acidic nature of vinegar is self-preserving and it is this content that keeps it fresh. Foods that Never Expire

3.  Cornstarch

Cornstarch is also one of the foods that can never expire if it’s stored correctly and doesn’t get wet and is kept in a dry, cool place.   Depending on how you store the cornstarch, you won’t need to pick another one for a very long time.

4.  Salt

Salt especially pure sodium chloride is stable in nature and can last forever. Salt is often used to preserve foods and keeps off the mold and bacteria. It draws out the water content of the food and makes it too dry, making it difficult for mold and bacteria to thrive. Health Benefits of Black Salt or Himalayan Salt

5. Uncooked white rice

If the vanilla extract is pure and properly sealed in an airtight bottle do that no bacteria could find its way into it, it can last for an indefinite time. Pure vanilla extract contains alcohol, which plays a role in prolonging its shelf life. Imitation Vanilla extract doesn’t contain as much alcohol as its pure counterpart and thus it cannot last for a long time.

7.  Sugar

Just like salt, sugar can be preserved for years, if its kept dried and away from heat. Sugar including pure sugar, granulated sugar, sugar cubes, raw sugar, brown sugar, all can last indefinitely. Sugar might lose its original texture with time, but it never expires.

8.  Dried Legumes

Dried legumes, not the canned or fresh ones, last forever if they are stored properly in an airtight container. However, dried beans may take longer to cook than the fresh or canned ones.
